BOLDLY INCLUSIVE
Embracing all people as they are, celebrating diversity and affirming the uniqueness of each person.
INTENTIONALLY CHALLENGING
Encouraging questions, exploring issues and finding new ways to live our faith as Christians in a changing world.
JOYFULLY CHRISTIAN
Connecting people to a loving community of God’s grace where all can be transformed by Jesus
and equipped for lives of service, praise and thanksgiving.
OUR LOGO
The imagery of the grapevine is prominent in the New Testament, particularly in John 15 where Jesus says, "I AM THE TRUE VINE."
The colored blocks in our logo (underneath the name, "Lamb of God") are modern graphic representations of a Grape Vine, a Grape Cluster and a Grape Leaf.
These images remind us that we are all a part of the true vine, flowing with life, and connected together in ministry.

History and Mission

OUR HISTORY
Lamb of God Church began 25 years ago in the San Carlos Park area of Lee County, Florida as two churches ... Lamb of God Lutheran Church and St. Joseph’s Episcopal Church. In 2000, St. Joseph's Episcopal changed its name to Lamb of God Episcopal and began worshiping with Lamb of God Lutheran.
In 2004, the two congregations were legally merged to form the first Lutheran Episcopal Congregation in the State of Florida, and only the second in the nation. This merger was approved by both the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and the Episcopal Church USA. The rest as they say, "is history".
