School Supply Collection

We have been collecting school supplies for the needy children in our community for a number of years. Each year, beginning in the summer, we begin collecting all kinds of school supplies for local elementary schools.
With the help of the congregation, we fill our “School House” with a provided list of supplies. We have several members who wish to donate but aren’t in town, so they mail a donation, and we will buy the needed supplies.

Once the supplies are in, several teachers organize, divide, and share the supplies between schools. It is amazing how much our teachers have to spend out of their own money to make sure they have what they need to teach their children, so we are thankful to help in any way that we can.
