I'm New, What Can I Expect?

We would like to extend a warm invitation to individuals and families to join us at Lamb of God Church! Our church community is a welcoming and inclusive place where everyone is valued and supported. When you visit us, you can expect to find a range of worship styles and activities that cater to all ages and backgrounds. Our Worship is uplifting and inspiring, and our pastor delivers messages that are grounded in scripture and relevant to our daily lives. We also offer opportunities to connect with others through fellowship, service projects, and small group activities. Whether you are looking to deepen your faith or just want to meet new people and get involved in the community, we welcome you to come and experience the warmth and hospitality of Lamb of God Church.

When is Worship?

We worship Sunday mornings at 10 AM.

What will happen when I visit?

When you arrive, the friendly members of our congregation will warmly welcome you. In our Welcome Area, you can learn more about current happenings and the church. As a first-time visitor, you'll receive a packet of information to help you get acquainted with our community. As you feel comfortable, there will be an opportunity to give us your contact information and someone from the church will be in touch with you.

What do I wear to services?

In Southern Florida, you'll find a variety of attire styles, ranging from casual wear to dressier church attire. All we ask is that you feel comfortable in whatever you choose to wear. We welcome you as you are... flip-flops and all!

How is communion taken?

We observe Communion during every Worship service. Our Open Table is inclusive to all, regardless of their beliefs or spiritual path. Children are welcome to commune, but a blessing is optional at the parent’s discretion.  We provide de-alcoholized wine, bread, or gluten-free wafers. No need to sweat the logistics, our ushers will assist you to ensure a smooth experience.

Do I have to be Episcopalian or Lutheran to participate at Lamb of God?

Certainly not, we have a wide range of people with differing religious backgrounds that Worship with us, including no religious background. Lamb of God Lutheran Episcopal is a federated congregation, meaning we are one family of people coming together to love and serve. Our denominational ties help to ground our theology, communicate how we interpret Scripture, and connect us with other Christians locally, nationally, and globally.

What about my children?

Children of all ages are welcome. We offer a Nursery for small children and infants. While we’re in our busy season, children 3-10 years old, are welcome to join in Sunday School during the 10:00 am service. Our Sunday School teachers will provide a lesson for the kids while you’re in church. After the sermon, the children join the adults for the Children’s Message, where they share what they learned, then return to sit with their families for Communion and the Closing.
